We open the summer with the bright and colorful relief works of Fellbach artist Markus Leuze, who died in 2023. Rooted in sculpture, Leuze created multi-layered panels throughout his life. In the narrative of his works, the artist processed, among other things, the experiences and tensions between Israelis and Palestinians that he experienced during his trips to the desert in 2001 and 2005. In the spirit of pacifism and more topical than ever, his works are able to captivate the viewer with fluorescent colors and dancing line structures.
