The concave moment and the convex always create different fields of perception and spatial reflections, so that sometimes you really don’t know whether it is raised or recessed?(…) How does a color plane behave in space, how does it change in the light? How does a solidity dissolve?

Willi Siber’s works reveal more to the viewer. More than two dimensions, more than one layer of color, more than just one plane. The sculptor’s new works occupy the rooms of the Braunbehrens Gallery with playful lightness and top-class chrome paint. They talk about new discoveries, surface textures and sensual aesthetics.
